In today's world of technology, every Surname DNA Project needs a website, as a tool for posting test results and pedigrees, and to provide a place for correlating them to find the family connections.

Everyone in the project should be able to see the information, and the Project Administrator should be able to prepare and update his project site without being a computer science major.

In addition, every Surname DNA Project should be visible to members so that they can see and share the project's learning. It should also be available to potential participants to promote interest and participation.

WorldFamilies.net provides a website to any project who uses FTDNA as their testing company at absolutely no charge. These project pages have been created from the learning of 6 years of project administration applied to hundreds of projects serving thousands of participants. The site can be used as a stand-alone system, or can be used in conjunction with the project pages provided by FTDNA or coordinated with another site which already supports your project.
